A Nigerian man who was supposed to turn 60 years today has lost his life to coronavirus a day before his birthday.
The deceased identified as Jide Arije succumbed to the deadly disease in Lagos on Sunday, April 26.
Friends have taken to social media to mourn the deceased.
Sola Salako Ajulo wrote on Twitter: “We just lost a friend to COVID-19 in Lagos. He was chatting a few hours ago. Now he is gone. He would have turned 60years tomorrow. May his soul Rest In Peace.”
In other news, Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo has taken to her Twitter page to declare that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has passed away.
Recall that the US-trained journalist stated on her Twitter account last week that she would unveil secrets about the possibility of the IPOB leader being dead and already replaced by a body double as Nnamdi of Sudan.
