A Nigerian lady based in Abuja has called on the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control to arrest her mother for flouting the social distancing directives over COVID-19 by attending a wedding in neighbouring Nassarawa State.
The lady took to her Twitter page to make the disclosure, saying her mother attended the wedding against everyone’s wish, thereby putting herself in danger of contracting the deadly coronavirus.
Her tweet has, however, generated reactions from Twitter users. While some commended her for taking such a brave step, others condemned her and asked if the woman in question is her biological mother.
