Multiple award-winning Nigerian artiste Davido has reacted to the fire incident that gutted the office of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGF) on Wednesday, April 8.
The singer took to his official Twitter page to express his displeasure at the news that the office went up in flames.
Davido said the money donated to fight coronavirus must be returned.
The singer’s father Adedeji Adeleke is one of the people who donated a huge amount to fight the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
Lamenting the loss that must have taken place at the AGF’s office, the Risky crooner expressed his heartbreak through tearful emojis.
A follower identified as King Anuoluwapo commented that Adedeji’s contribution has just gone down the drain.
Davido responded by saying that his father’s donation is nothing to him. He, however, said all the money donated to the government must be accounted for.
In other news, Nigerian artiste Reekado Banks has pleaded with the federal government of Nigeria to reopen its border, saying he is tired of Gabon.
Recall that the federal government closed all land borders over the coronavirus pandemic.
