As the world continues to battle with coronavirus pandemic, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has ordered the closure of all markets and stores effective from Thursday, March 26.
The governor, however, gave exception to pharmacies and markets selling food items, water and medical equipment.
Governor Sanwo-Olu who gave the directive on Tuesday, March 24, said the closure would last for seven days.
Coronavirus has forced schools to shut down in different countries, including Nigeria.
Some companies have also told their staff to be working from home as cases of coronavirus continue to make the headlines.
Coronavirus was first recorded in China in December 2019.
